When NASCAR imposed this rule, I have to wonder if they really thought this one out ? I do understand the original intent... But now that teams are merging just to stay afloat, I think NASCAR did not see the world financial melt down in their planning stage... I think they should go back to the old ways... And let the teams do what they must to survive... God only knows NASCAR has choked the life out of their bank accounts...
